Connected to the Chairman of the Council.

Main Objective

Sets up parliamentary meetings and participates fully and actively in   the   European Union.

Duties

1. Prepares the meetings, proceedings, and resolutions of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee of the Inter- Parliamentary Unit.

2. Prepares the necessary document and information for the Council's delegations participating in the activities of parliamentary unions.

3. Gives professional and expert advice about the parliamentary unions regulations.

4. Prepares the necessary reports and information for the delegations of the   parliamentary unions, which visit the Shura Council .

5. Prepares memorandum and information about the participation of Shura Council in the parliamentary union meetings.

6. Follows-up the activities of the parliamentary unions, observes any changes in their functions or duties, and make a note of it.

7. Provides the Shura Council's delegations with full information about any council that they intend to visit, and vice versa.

8. Follows-up the activities of the Friendship Committees with other councils, organizes their files, and issues the necessary reports respecting them.

9. Presents a periodical report on the work of the Inter- Parliamentary Unit.

10. Submits all the out come of the Inter-Parliamentary Unit's office to the Chairman of the Council.

11. cooperate fully with  the concerned departments in field of its work, in  addition to any other task that might be added.
