-   Member, Majlis Ash-Shura, since 2005.

-         Teacher in primary and intermediate schools, Asir Province from 1978 to 1981.

-         English language teacher in high school, Asir and Jeddah from 1987 to 1990.

-         Envoy of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to work at the Saudi Embassy and the Islamic Center in Washington.

-         Worked in Teachers Collages Agency.

-         Worked as supervisor of Development Unit

-         Dean of the training programs and community service in Teachers Collages Agency.

-         General manager of the Educational Supervision Administration, Ministry of Education, 2002 .

- Has well-attended participations in international Islamic conferences held by the Holy Mosques, Um-Al-Qura University, and other establishments. He attended religious conferences in Cairo, Rabat, London, the United States, Pakistan, Indonesia and South Africa. A royal decree approved his nomination as teacher and mufti at the Holy Mosque in Makkah.

- Wrote a number of articles and participated in several television programs.

-         Authored a number of working papers in the fields of education and pedagogy.
