Speaker of the Shura Council Leads Saudi Delegation to the Int'l Parliamentary Union's General Assembly in Indolnesia

Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, Speaker of the Shura Council, is set to lead a powerful delegation of his organization to the 144th General Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) as well as the meetings of IPU's Governing Council, to be held in the Indonesian city of Bali under the theme "Reaching Zero Emissions: Mobilizing World Parliaments on Climate Change Issue.*".To mark the occasion, Al Al-Shiekh said that the Kingdom's participation in this international big event comes in line with the great roles played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince to consolidate world peace and solidarity.*.Al Al-Shiekh drew the attention to the Kingdom's participation in all major international platforms, including its recent regional and international initiatives that contribute to drastically reduce the effect of gaz emissions.*.In this regard, he cited His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense,'s Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative as well as the Kingdom's recent hosting of the Middle East Green Initiative Summit which attracted a host of world leaders and decision-makers.*.Bali meetings are also scheduled to discuss unified ideas on climate change, including ways to enhance information technology and communications as an auxliary factor to the education sector.
