Presided over by its Chairman and Member of the Shura Council Dr. Fayez Al-Shehri, the Saudi-Georgian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today with Georgian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vakhtang Jaoshvili. During the meeting, they discussed the ways to strengthen the bilateral work and cooperation at the level of the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Parliament of Georgia. They also reviewed a number of issues of common interest between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Georgia as well as activating the role of the parliamentary friendship committees between the two countries. For his part, the Georgian Ambassador condemned the attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
