Shura Council's Saudi-Moroccan Parliamentary Friendship Committee Meets with Moroccan Ambassador

Presided over by its Chairman and Member of the Shura Council Assaf bin Salem Abu Thnain, the Shura Council's Saudi-Moroccan Parliamentary Friendship Committee has held a meeting here with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr.* Mustafa Al-Mansouri, in the presence of Moroccan Deputy Ambassador Aziz Al-Ashouri, and the members of the Council, members of the Committee.* At the outset of the meeting, Abu Thnain welcomed the Moroccan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising the relations between the two countries.* He stressed the importance of strengthening the relations at the parliamentary level represented by the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Council of Representatives and Council of Advisors in the Kingdom of Morocco.* He also stressed the role of the Parliamentary Friendship Committees on both sides to support aspects of cooperation and joint work, as well as coordination of bilateral positions in the international parliamentary forums and participations.* For his part, the Moroccan Ambassador affirmed the Saudi pioneering role in the region and the world, and the congruence of visions between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco in various issues, hailing the developmental leap in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at various levels in light of its ambitious vision.* The Moroccan Ambassador stressed the importance of supporting the joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields, especially at the level of parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and Council of Representatives and Council of Advisors in the Kingdom of Morocco, strengthening the cooperation in the field of trade exchange and activating the maritime transport movement between the two countries.* During the meeting, the members of the Saudi-Moroccan Parliamentary Friendship Committee discussed with the Moroccan Ambassador a number of issues of common concern.*
