Headed by His Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, the council delegation met a number of officials in the Kingdom of Sweden

The Shura Council delegation, headed by Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmadi, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Jan Knuston, in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, at the beginning of the official visit of the delegation to the Kingdom of Sweden.*The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance the releations in various fields, and the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Swedish Parliament, in a way that contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples. The meeting also discussed a number of issues of common interest.*The Shura Council delegation, headed by Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, also met with the Deputy Minister of International Trade of the Kingdom of Sweden, Mr. Hakan Gifrel, as part of the agenda of the current visit of the Council delegation.*The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the cooperation in the trade field between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Sweden, and ways to enhance it.*The economic successes of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was reviewed in the light of Vision 2030 as well as the goals achieved in the economic and investment field, the ongoing economic reforms, and the improvement of the investment environment in the Kingdom. A number of issues of common interest between the two friendly countries were also discussed.*The meetings were attended by members of the Shura Council, members of the delegation, Dr. Ayman Fadel, Major General Mansour Al-Turki, Hanan Al-Semari, Dr. Latifa Al-Abdulkarim, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Iceland, Enas Al-Shahwan.
