Shura votes on the two laws of combating terrorism and its financing and money laundering and discusses a number of topics in its meetings next week

The Shura Council discussed during its 58th ordinary session on Sunday the report of the Security Affairs Committee on the draft law of the anti-terrorism and financing.

The Council will also discuss the report of the Finance Committee on the request for approval of amendments and additions to the Anti-Money Laundering law.

During this session, the Council will vote on a recommendation of the Committee on Social Affairs, Family and Youth requesting the approval of the draft law of Rights and Care for Older Persons.

During the 59th ordinary session next Monday, the Council will hear the views of the Committee on Security Affairs regarding the members' opinions on the draft law on Combating and Financing Terrorist Crimes.

The Council will also discuss the report of the Committee on Economy and Energy on the annual report of the Electricity and Cogeneration Regulatory Authority.

Also, among topics on the agenda of this meeting is the report of the Finance Committee on the annual report of the Saudi Fund for Development.
