Vice-Speaker of the Shura Council: Eradication of Corruption is one of the Foundations of Construction and Development

His Excellency Vice-Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri, affirmed the Kingdom's determination under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to fight corruption and eradicate it because of its danger to social security, economic growth and financial and administrative performance.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al-Jafri said in a press statement that the issuance of the royal decree to form a higher committee headed by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to limit and eradicate corruption is a sign of the state's determination towards a new stage to strengthen the pillars of construction and move to a new stage to lift the country and protect the interests of people.

The Vice-Speaker of the Shura Council said that Islam came as a good commandment for all people and forbidding all evil. He ordered mercy, justice and charity. He forbade corruption, injustice and aggression, and made dealing between creation based on the power of faith and warned against the effects of corruption.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Jafri pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in the process of developing based on the vision of 2030 and that the starting points and success of eradicating corruption and applying the regulations firmly to all those who impinge on public money and did not preserve or misappropriate or abuse power and influence.

He said that from this point of view, came the decision of the leader of determination and resolve to fight corruption and address the exploiters of their positions and influence to try to control public money, which leads to the gap between this class and the rest of society.

Dr. Al-Jafri stressed that the phenomenon of corruption is a hoe of destruction to any country or society and thus will reduce the efficiency of the economy and will contribute to the weakening of economic growth and increase the indebtedness of the state.

At the end of his statement, His Excellency asked Allah the Almighty to preserve the Kingdom and perpetuate the blessing of prosperity and stability and to grant success and blessing to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince to their efforts to raise this precious nation and its loyal people.
