Shura Council Speaker Receives Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh received here today the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias in the presence of the Greek Ambassador to the Kingdom Ioannis Tagis, and the Minister's accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the Greek Foreign Minister noted the positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as balanced in regional and international events. He also stressed that the attacks that targeted the oil installations in Abqaiq and Khurais are targeting energy and the global economy.

The Greek Foreign Minister expressed his admiration for the qualitative leaps achieved by the Kingdom in the economic field, pointing to his country's interest in the Kingdom's vision 2030. The Minister pointed out that Saudi-Greek relations are witnessing mutual compatibility towards many regional and international files, looking forward during his current visit to the Kingdom to contributing to consolidating and strengthening bilateral relations to achieve common goals.

Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh stressed the importance of strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Greece, to serve the common interests between the two countries. The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of common concern between the two countries, in a way that enhances bilateral relations in all political, economic and parliamentary fields.
