A number of members of the Shura Council, headed by the Council member, Chairman of the Human Rights Committee and Chairman of the Saudi-Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Muhanna, held a meeting today with a delegation of members of the Shura Council of the State of Qatar, headed by the Council member, Chairman of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee, Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al-Dosari, who is currently visiting the Kingdom.* During the meeting, the roles played by the two councils in the two countries were discussed, especially with regard to legislative aspects; a number of topics and issues of common interest were also discussed.* The meeting was attended by members of the Shura Council Dr. Mohammed Al Jarba, Dr. Ibrahim Al Hadithi, Dr. Tariq Al Shammari, Mohammed Al Humaidhi, and Mohammed Al Faraj.* On the part of the Qatari Shura Council delegation, the meeting was attended by members of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Qatari Shura Council Mr. Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, Mr. Ahmed Al-Maliki, Mr. Ahmed Al-Asiri, Mr. Salem Al-Muraikhi, and the Secretary-General of the Council Mr. Nayef Al-Mahmoud.
