The Saudi-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council Meets with its Counterpart in the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey

The Saudi-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee held a meeting today at the Council's seat in Riyadh, chaired by the committee's chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qanass, with its counterpart, the Turkish-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey, represented by Mr. Nureddin Nebati, in the presence of members of the Shura Council and members of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Council.* During the meeting, a number of topics and issues of common interest between the Kingdom and the Republic of Turkey were discussed, and cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields were reviewed, in addition to exploring ways to enhance bilateral work and cooperation in terms of parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Turkish Parliament, which contributes to supporting collaboration and joint efforts between the two sides. The meeting also addressed several topics related to parliamentary affairs, as well as a number of topics and issues of mutual interest in various fields.* It is worth mentioning that Saudi parliamentary friendship committees in the Shura Council work on developing and documenting the bonds of friendship and communication between the Council and the legislative councils and parliaments in brotherly and friendly countries, which enhances the Kingdom's external relations and achieves the maximum amount of communication and coordination in various parliamentary forums at both the regional and international levels.
