The Saudi-Hungarian Parliamentary Friendship Committee at the Shura Council, headed by member of the council and head of the committee Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qannas, in Riyadh, has held a meeting with Hungarian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Balázs Selmeci in the presence of members of the committee*. During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Hungary, and the need to boost these ties in various fields in a way that realizes the interests of the two countries. They also went over issues of joint interests that can help enhance relations, mainly at the parliamentary level between the Shura Council and the Hungarian parliament. The parliamentary friendship committees of the Shura Council aim to strengthen the ties of friendship between the council and parliaments in brotherly and friendly countries and to achieve greater coordination and cooperation in parliamentary events at the regional and international levels.
