The Speaker of the Shura Council and the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hold an Official Discussion Session

His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, held an official discussion session with His Excellency the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, at the Council's seat in Riyadh*. At the beginning of the discussion session, Dr. Abdullah Al Sheikh welcomed the President of the Senate during his visit to the Kingdom, noting the importance of this visit and its impact on strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, pointing to the steady growth witnessed by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince - may Allah protect them - in all economic, developmental and tourism fields.* For his part, the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia affirmed his country's aspiration to enhance cooperation with the Kingdom in various fields, extending his thanks to the Kingdom for the facilities provided to Cambodian pilgrims and Umrah performers during their performance of Hajj and Umrah rituals.* During the talks session, ways to enhance cooperation relations in various fields were discussed, especially prospects for parliamentary cooperation, in addition to reviewing topics and issues of mutual interest.* The discussion session was attended by His Excellency the Vice Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami, Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Shura Council, Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi. The discussion session was also attended by members of the Shura Council, members of the Saudi-Cambodian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Mr. Yazid Al-Tuwaijri, Vice Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Abdullah Al-Madi, Member of the Committee and the accompanying member to the President of the Cambodian Senate, Major General Saleh Al-Zahrani, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rajhi, Dr. Tariq Al-Shammari, Dr. Hamad Balharith, Mr. Fayhan Bin Labdah, and Dr. Ali Al-Ghaban.
