His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Shura Council, Mr. Mohammed bin Dakhil Al-Mutairi, extended his highest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may Allah protect them - on the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia winning the bid to host the 2034 World Cup.* His Excellency stressed in a press statement on this occasion that the Kingdom’s winning of the bid to host the World Cup is the result of great and organized work and effort, in which the hosting file achieved a high rating, which confirms the Kingdom’s ability, position, global leadership, and its continuous success in hosting many international events and conferences.* His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Shura Council noted in his statement the support of the wise leadership - may Allah protect it - to modernize and develop the sports sector, which aims to make the Kingdom a leading country in sports, through the creation and development of sports facilities, enhancing the practice of sports activities in society, and achieving excellence in several sports regionally and globally. His Excellency concluded his statement by asking Allah Almighty to preserve the Kingdom and to continue its path of glory, development, stability and security under its leadership and people, for He is the All-Hearing, All-Answering.
