Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmadi, extended her highest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may Allah protect them - on the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia winning the bid to host the 2034 World Cup.* Her Excellency considered the Kingdom’s winning of hosting this global event a historic national achievement, expressing her pride and appreciation for the great international support the Kingdom has received, which confirms its position and leadership regionally and globally, and its deservingness to host this global sporting event.* Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi emphasized in her statement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing great progress and movement towards the goals of its ambitious vision, and that the growth and development achieved so far on various economic, social, cultural and developmental levels represents a pioneering model for comprehensive national renaissance, which has provided the Kingdom with all the elements that make it a global destination that hosts the most prominent global events and activities in all fields.* Her Excellency pointed out that the Kingdom’s selection to host the World Cup in 2034 comes as an affirmation of its tireless efforts to promote peace, love and communication and to spread messages of peace and love in the world through sport, as it is one of the most important means of rapprochement between all peoples of the world, regardless of their cultures, races and affiliations.* Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council concluded her statement by asking Allah Almighty to perpetuate the glory, stability, security and growth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under its leadership - may Allah protect it - for He is the All-Hearing, All-Answering.
