Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Shura Council Holds Meeting with Mexican Foreign Minister

Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard stressed the need to develop relations and further enhance friendship between Mexico and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing hope to realize joint visions related to the Saudi Vision 2030 at all levels, mainly in the tourist and cultural fields*.The remarks were made during a meeting held by the Saudi-Mexican Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council today, headed by Member of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Saudi-Mexican Friendship Committee of the Shura Council Dr. Ibrahim Mahmoud Al-Nahhas, in the presence of Mexican Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Aníbal Gómez at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh.*The Mexican Foreign Minister expressed hope for this meeting to contribute to increasing coordination and cooperation on joint issues, in addition to enhancing economic partnership and expanding commercial cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Mexico through the effective participation of businesspeople in the two friendly countries*.For his part, Dr. Al-Nahhas praised the deep and historical ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Mexico in all fields, aspiring to further developing ties between the two countries, mainly at the parliamentary level, and activating the role of the two parliamentary friendship committees*.The meeting, which was attended by members of the committee, also reviewed several issues of mutual interest and means to enhance bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Mexico in all fields.
