His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, held an official discussion session at the Council's seat in Riyadh today, with His Excellency the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandic.*At the beginning of the session, the Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah Al Sheikh, welcomed the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro and the accompanying delegation, reviewing bilateral relations and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation at various levels, especially those related to parliamentary fields between the two friendly countries.*For his part, the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro praised the warm reception and hospitality he and the accompanying delegation received since their arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing his country's keenness to enhance cooperation with the Kingdom, praising its leading position in the Islamic world and the Arab region and its effective role at the global level.*During the talks session, parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Parliament of Montenegro were discussed, as well as ways to activate them, given their role in strengthening cooperation ties between the two sides and raising them to higher levels. The two sides also discussed a number of topics of common interest.*The official talks session was attended by His Excellency the Vice Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami, Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker, Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council, Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi, Council Member and Chairman of the Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee with Montenegro, Dr. Ali Al-Shahrani, Council Member and Vice Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Musleh Al-Harthi, and Council Members, Committee Members, Dr. Osama Aref, His Excellency Mr. Osama Al-Rabiah, Dr. Bandar Al-Baqmi, Dr. Dalal Namanqani, Dr. Rashid Al-Sharif, Major General Ali Al-Sheikh, Nasser Al-Dughaither, Dr. Nasser Tayaran, Dr. Hind Al-Khammash, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Albania, Non-Resident to Montenegro, Faisal Hafzi.*The delegation accompanying His Excellency the Speaker of the Montenegrin Parliament was attended by the Assistant Speaker of the Parliament, Mirko Lalatovic, and a number of senior officials in the Parliament.
