His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council Shiekh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al AlShiekh starts an official visit to Kingdom of Thailand, heading a delegation from the Shura Council in response to an official invitation received by His Excellency the Thai Senate Speaker as part of exchanging visits and strengthening the relations between the two friendly countries, including the Shura Council, councils and parliaments to consolidate the bonds of cooperation and coordination in parliaments.*His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al AlSheikh stressed –in a press statement- that this official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand follows the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince – May Allah protect them- to enhance the bilateral relations between the friendly countries, strengthen the ties of friendship between them, and have a fruitful cooperation in various areas.*His Excellency pointed the great efforts of the countries leaderships towards strengthening bilateral relations, praising the fruitful results from the visit payed by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the Kingdom of Thailand. This visit came after the visit payed by Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which confirmed the interest and determination to strengthen the bonds of friendship and elevate relations to a higher level, in a way that serves and supports the interests and people of the two countries.*His Excellency also confirmed the importance pf the prominent role played by the Shura council in enhancing Saudi Arabia's relations with friendly and brotherly countries within the framework of the parliamentary diplomacy the Council plays, along with the crucial roles in order to strengthen relations and coordinate positions in various international issues.*During the visit, His Excellency the Speaker of Shura Council holds an official discussion session with His Excellency the Thai Senate Speaker. He also holds a discussion session with His Excellency the Speaker of the Parliament, Speaker of the House of the Representatives. His Excellency and the delegation meet with numbers of officials in the Kingdom of Thailand.*The official delegation includes accompanying His Excellency Speaker of Shura Council during the visit are members of the Councils; Dr. Husain Ashereef, Dr. Isa Alotaibi, Dr. Ateeyah AlAtawi, Dr. Asmaa Almwaisher, and numbers of officials from the Shura Council.
