Shura Speaker Heads KSA’s Delegation to 16th Meeting of the Heads of the Shura, Representatives, National Assembly, and Parliament Councils in GCC

Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, is heading the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the 16th meeting of Heads of Shura, Representatives, National Assembly, and Parliament Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states hosted by Oman*.Dr. Al Al-Sheikh pointed out that the participation of the Shura Council in the Gulf Parliamentary Forum emanates from the Kingdom's aspiration, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince, to shoulder ranks and deepen cooperation and action among the GCC countries to contribute to realizing the aspirations of the GCC nations.*Citing the support that the Gulf councils receive from the GCC leaders, Al Al-Sheikh stressed that the regular meeting of the Heads of Shura, Representatives, National Assembly, and Parliament Councils in the GCC countries contributes to increasing effective and continuous communication between the councils, and injects the Gulf work with new energies that carry ideas that keep pace with the current stage and the ongoing developments which require raising the level of coordination at all levels.*During the meeting, the heads of the legislative councils will discuss various topics that will be on the meeting’s agenda, as well as engage in several sessions which will be held on the sidelines of the 16th meeting of the Heads of Shura, Representatives, National Assembly and Parliament Councils in the GCC area.
