Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmadi, met at the Council's seat in Riyadh with Her Excellency the Second Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ms. Julia Kronlid, in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council, Mr. Mohammed bin Dakhil Al-Mutairi.* At the beginning of the meeting, the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council welcomed Ms. Julia Kronlid and her accompanying delegation, reviewing the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Sweden and ways to enhance them in various fields, stressing the Shura Council's keenness to strengthen parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Swedish Parliament in a way that contributes to expanding the horizons of understanding and cooperation relations and serves the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.* Al-Ahmadi pointed to the successes achieved by the Kingdom in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the goals achieved in all fields, and the opportunities provided by the vision's programs in light of the effective development movement witnessed in all fields. During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed.* The meeting was attended by members of the Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna, Chairman of the Human Rights Committee, Dr. Issa Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Transport, Communications and Information Technology Committee, Dr. Rima Al-Yahya, Vice-Chair of the Education and Scientific Research Committee, Mrs. Hanan Al- Samari, Vice-Chair of the Trade and Investment Committee, Major General Mansour Al-Turki, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Jubeir, Dr. Ahood Al-Shahail, and Dr. Latifa Al-Abdulkarim.
