The Shura Council holds its forty-fifth regular session of the second year of the eighth session.

The Shura Council called on the Ministry of Investment to coordinate with the relevant authorities to develop the necessary methodologies and mechanisms for preparing and making economic and investment reports available, and to develop a methodology for estimating the economic effects of foreign investment deals and their contribution to the domestic product and job creation.*This came during the council's forty-fifth regular session of the second year of its eighth session, which was held today - via video conferencing - under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salmi.*The council also called on the ministry to coordinate with the royal authorities and the development authorities of regions and cities/provinces to prepare the necessary implementation plans to align the initiatives of the national investment strategy with the initiatives and projects of these authorities, in a manner consistent with the comparative advantage of the cities/provinces and enhance their impact on national development.
